Our rates vary depending on the size of your pet, kennel preference and the length of his/her stay. Please see our pricing page on our website for more information.

We require a 72-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled boarding date may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We offer boarding discounts for stays that are 30 days or longer. A 10% off on boarding is offered to clients who leave us a review after availing our services. Referrals earn a discount of 15%.

Yes, we offer spacious AC and non-AC kennels to dogs of different sizes and breeds. We also have multi-dog kennels for dogs coming from the same home. 

We take our dogs out of their kennels six times a day and have them enjoy a ten-minute walk in our garden. We also offer a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace.

We serve fresh, homemade chicken as well as egg meals. Boiled rice with chicken/egg/vegetables and curd are available. Parents who wish to provide kibble for their dogs are welcome to do so.

Adult dogs are fed twice a day. Puppies are fed 3-4 times a day.

Yes, we send  videos to parents via WhatsApp. While daily videos may not be possible due to the large group of dogs under our care, we keep parents informed at least once in a couple of days. If there is a problem, it will be promptly communicated to the parents.

No. We are close to the Puzhal lake and no amount of rain can flood our neighbourhood. All the rain water drains into the lake.

Yes. We partner with the best vets in town to offer 24/7 veterinary support to dogs boarding with us. 

Yes. Dog House is located in Red Hills, Chennai, and we offer doorstep pickup and drop all over Chennai city and some suburbs. Transport is charged at Rs.25 per kilometer.

Most of the dogs who board with us are human-friendly and not dog-friendly. A small percentage is social and can safely interact with other dogs. The priority is safety, not socialization. 

Yes, the entire Dog House team lives on the premises and we are available to care for your dogs 24/7.

Yes, we have visiting hours. Please call us a day ahead to get an appointment.

No. Swimming is available only to dog in boarding with us. 

The boarding price includes accommodation, handling and access to all facilities, including swimming. Food is excluded from the price. 

No. Only dogs are allowed to ride in our vehicle. 

An air-conditioned MUV customized to accommodate extra-large dogs comfortably. Your dog gets a private ride. No sharing with other dogs. Your dog will not be in a cage. He/she can sit comfortably on car bedding. 

Your dog should be wearing a collar. You may send a bedsheet, if you wish to, so your dog has familiar-smelling bedding. Toys, snacks and/or dry food can be provided. 

Yes, your dog will have drinking water available in his/her kennel 24/7. The water is changed multiple times a day. 

Yes. Initially, some dogs are aggressive towards new caretakers. We take them out on leashed walks and escort them to their kennels. Once they warm up to us, we gradually initiate physical contact and leash-free walks.

Yes. If your dog is a girl and is likely to come into heat while in boarding, please inform us ahead so we can ensure zero contact with males.

No. Dog House is an anti-breeding establishment. The breeding, sale and purchase of live animals is banned. We encourage people to adopt dogs from the streets and animal shelters.

No. We only offer paid, temporary dog boarding services.
