Pet dogs are abandoned in Chennai every day. An abandoned dog’s story may break your heart but you may not be able to adopt the dog yourself. Alternatively, can you sponsor the dog’s upkeep for life? If yes, Dog House's Distance Puppy program allows you to become a virtual parent.

Distance Puppy aims to give people who are genuinely committed to sponsoring an abandoned dog’s life, an opportunity to do so. We are talking about paying for the dog’s housing, food and healthcare for 1-15 years, depending on whether the dog you’re virtually adopting is young, middle-aged or a senior. It takes an unwavering, long-term commitment, financially and emotionally. If you have it in you to make that commitment, Dog House will take on the physical work involved in caring for the dog. And you’re welcome to visit your Distance Puppy whenever you can and would like to. 

Distance Puppy allows you to become a virtual dog parent from any corner of the globe. You can pick a needy dog you already know for this program or we can help you pick one. At some point, should you wish to physically adopt the dog and take him/her home with you, we will be happy to assist you with the process.
